Online Panel Management

The key to high quality data is to work with a top quality panel. With an online panel that is recruited and managed by Springvale Online, we are in control of the panel. We control the quality of the sample – the pool of respondents that actually give you feed back. Our countrywide double opt-in internet panels are all carefully recruited and rigorously managed.

  1. The sheer size of the Springvale Online panel provides the safest, most reliable data collection because the large pool of respondents allows for demographically balanced, representative and probability samples to be drawn.
  2. Invitation Emails: Each invitation includes a unique Link/URL that will direct the respondent to the online survey. Embedded in each link is a unique PAC (personal access code). This allows us to identify each respondent with each completed survey.
  3. The IP address is captured from each respondent’s computer to prevent multiple respondents to a survey from one household.
  4. Respondents are given a brief explanation of the research objectives as well as the compensation strategy for completing the survey. This enables the respondent to align his interests with ours.
  5. Privacy policy is a big consideration for users giving out personal information. Springvale Online only releases data about its user base as a whole or about certain segments but does not reveal any facts on individual users. Members confidently provide candid responses because of our privacy policy.
  6. No Volunteer respondents: we do not allow respondents to self-select themselves to participate in surveys.
  7. The participation of panelists in surveys is monitored and limited.
  8. Compensation: Panel members are always fairly compensated for completing surveys the longer the survey the greater the compensation.
  9. Recruiting is an ongoing process and new members are constantly added. We have periodic re-profiling, response rate monitoring and panel cleaning and refreshing.
  10. Recruiting methods are periodically adjusted to keep the panel balanced and representative of the countries population
  11. Demographic Survey: Once users are verified they are presented with a demographic or sign up survey. The demographic survey includes key questions (age, sex, region) that are considered vital for segmentation of panel members, allowing us to send invitation only to those members who meet the criteria of a specific study.
  12. Double opt-in Verification: verification of opt-in status and email address is done using the double opt-in paradigm. Email invitations delivered to users who have consciously chosen to be part of the online panel cannot be considered as spam.
  13. Panel members have access to panel website and to the services and links available through the site.
